Hunter Sadowski Obituary, Death – Crown Point Community Mourns 27-Year-Old

The family, friends, and loved ones of Hunter Sadowski, 27, of Crown Point, Indiana, are mourning his passing on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Hunter will be remembered by those closest to him for his love of sports, animals, friendships, and the experiences he shared with his family throughout his life.
Remembering Hunter Sadowski
Hunter grew up in Crown Point, Indiana, where he developed a strong passion for sports from an early age.
He played lacrosse during high school and especially enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his grandfather, father, brother, and friends. His enthusiasm for sports continued throughout his life, and he proudly supported the Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks.
Hunter was also a devoted dog lover. His affection for animals and the companionship he found in his four-legged friends were an important part of his life.
Hunter’s Education and Career
Hunter graduated from Indiana University Bloomington, where he was a proud member of Lambda Chi.
Following college, he began his professional career in Chicago, Illinois, working as a Sales Development Representative.
His education and career marked an important chapter in his journey as he began building his adult life and establishing himself professionally.
Hunter Sadowski’s Family
Hunter is survived by his parents, Thomas and Linda Sadowski, and his brother, Drew Sadowski, and Drew’s wife, Angelica.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann and Ian Braid and John and Paula Sadowski, as well as his uncle, Allan Braid.
His family will carry forward the memories of the years they shared with him and the many experiences that made Hunter an important part of their lives.
Memorial Service and Visitation
A memorial service for Hunter Sadowski will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, Indiana 46307.
Pastor Mark Wilkins will officiate.
Memorial visitation will follow the service and continue until 5:00 p.m.
Family, friends, and members of the community will have an opportunity to gather, pay their respects, share memories, and honor Hunter’s life.
Memorial Donations
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made in Hunter’s name to the Lake County Animal Shelter, reflecting his lifelong love of dogs and animals.

Hunter Sadowski’s life was shaped by the people, interests, and experiences that brought him happiness.
From playing lacrosse and enjoying golf with family and friends to supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams, building friendships, pursuing his education, and beginning his career, Hunter created memories that will remain with those who knew him.
